On-Street Parking
On-street parking is available for short-term parking. There are 800 metered on-street spaces, plus loading zones and un-metered on-street spaces. Metered parking time limits range from 30 minutes to ten hours. Most meters allow one- to two-hour parking. Meters accept only quarters.

Off-Street Parking
Off-street parking provides convenient parking in a protected location. Nearly three-quarters of all off-street spaces are located in decks; the remainder are in parking lots.
- There are now more than 4,200 off-street parking spaces.
- There are over 3,100 spaces are in five parking decks: Liberty-Main, Cherry-Marshall, 6th/Cherry-Trade, Triad Park and Center City West.
- Our newest deck, Center City West, on 4th Street between Poplar and Spring Streets.
- At most facilities, hourly rates are 75 cents, with a $6 maximum per stay.
- 24-hour passes, which allow unlimited entries and exits into the Cherry/Marshall and 6th/Cherry/Trade decks, are also available for $6.
- Third-party billing for special event parking is available.
- The Revenue Office in the Finance Dept. collects payments for off-street spaces. The Revenue Office is in City Hall South, Room 121.
- The mailing address for monthly parking payments is: City of Winston-Salem, Invoice Dept., P.O. Box 2756, Winston-Salem, NC 27102.
